Here's a 3 night run at the House of Blues. On Thursday, if you're lucky you have tickets go see TV on the Radio at the House of Blues. On Friday the House of Blues hosts Gorgol Bordello. And on Saturday, PJ Harvey would be a great show to catch at the House of Blues. If you feel like braving the masses, Harpoon is hosting their Summer Session on Friday and Saturday. On Saturday they have an Americana stage and Girls Guns and Glory are performing. Check here for set times: www.harpoonbrewery.com. On Sunday, a cool band with a unfortunate name, Natalie Portman's Shaved Head is at TTs. There are some good shows during the week if you can get out, The Decemberists with Robyn Hitchcock on Tuesday at the Pavillion and Jenny Lewis and Deer Tick at the House of Blues on Wednesday. It's another busy week!
Apparently this is also a free giveaway list (not just rock n roll) with free donuts, free chocolate, free lip balm and free ice cream, wow! On Friday head over to Dunkin Donuts, buy a beverage and they'll give you a donut. On Saturday go to your local Friendly's and they'll give you a free ice cream. And here's another freebie, Burts Bees is giving away free lip balm everyday between now and June 30. Just log onto www.burtsbees.com between 9a and noon to download a coupon. The time that they open the contest is different everyday so keep trying. Also don't forget, on every Friday starting at 9a, you can go to www.realchocolate.com and download a coupon for free chocolate be one of the first 250,000 people to get your sweets. If you don't get one on this week, don't worry, this promotion is running every Friday thru September.
