Information Crush: Amy's Show List

Wow, it's already October. I guess time flies when you're having fun or something like that. On Friday I'm torn about the Dinosaur Jr show at the Middle East for a little Pioneer Valley rock or Jay Retard at Harpers or Jetset and Highland Moore at the Plough, too many choices. Saturday has another good night of music with Ra Ra Riot at the Paradise (I love their Rhumb Line cd but have never seen them live yet), a great local line up at TTs with Sidewalk Driver, The Motion Sick, Aloud and John Powhida's International Airport and yet another chance to see Dinosaur Jr at the Milddle East. On Sunday you have a chance to catch local rock superstars Mission of Burma at MIT at 2p at the East Campus Courtyard and it's free! Sunday night has a band at TTs that's getting alot of buzz, Blk Jks and Stars of Track and Field are at the Middle East (gotta love a band named after a Belle and Sebastian song) and if you're in the mood for a little Americana music, Johnny D's has Kim Richey. On Monday, if you want to rock n roll all night and party every day, you're in luck cause Kiss is at the Garden. Russian rock stars, Mumiy Troll are at the Middle East and the Japanoids are at Great Scotts. Tuesday looks good with the Brazilian Girls at the House of Blues or Thee Oh Sees at Great Scotts. Surprisingly Wednesday has many many great shows to choose from. There's Bob Mould at the Paradise, the Twilight Sad, Brakes Brakes Brakes and We Were Promised Jetpacks at Great Scotts, Howard Jones at Scullers (where has he been all of these years?) and Mars Volta at the House of Blues.
