It's a night of firsts: The first-ever performance by Marvelous Marbles (left, photo by Colin Meney) at the first-ever show held at Bloc 11 in Union Square (Somerville). This blog was born over coffee at Bloc 11 so we have quite a soft spot for the bank-turned-coffee shop.Marvelous Marbles includes two members of One Happy Island and one awesome local music blog comrade. This is probably a one-off show for them so if you miss it you're SOL dude. Also playing are Vermont popsters The Smittens. It goes down early so you can still make it to Township or Metric or whatever else you're off to this Friday night.
