Information Crush: Amy's Show List

The Holiday season is in full swing so I don't know how much time you'll have for rockin' but there are lots of choices that you can try to fit into your busy schedule. On Thursday the show at Church looks pretty good with Eddie Japan, Sidewalk Driver and Blizzard of '78. Friday has a couple of cool shows. At the Paradise is Will Dailey's Festivál Holidád benefit for Toys for Tots Will Daily & the Rivals, The Luxury, Violet Nine and Brendan Boogie & the Best Intentions (Great music for a great cause!) and then at Precinct you can check out Auto Interiors and Andrea Gillis. Saturday brings lots of choices including Barrence Whitfield and the Monkey Hips to the Plough (just in case you didn't get to see him recently at the Paradise with El Vez and Los Straightjackets). Also playing on Saturday is Bang Camaro at the Paradise and John Powhida International Airport is at the Rosebud and the Cliks are at the Middle East and if you're on the South Shore hey hey it's Peter Tork & the Shoe Suede Blues in Scituate. On Sunday there an amazing lineup at the Regent in Arlington with their Rock n Soul Holiday Concert with Willie Alexander, Jenny Dee and the Deelinquints, Mike Gent, John Powhida, Andrea Gillis and more. If that's not your thing there's the Arctic Monkey show at the House of Blues or Rooney at the Middle East (for teeny bopper pop, they're kinda fun). And if you need a little Christmas New Orleans style, Aaron Neville will deliver at Showcase Live in Foxboro on Tuesday. On Wednesday, if you were planning on the Grant Hart (Husker Du!) at the Middle East, please note that the date has moved to January 11th, so go to Pa's Lounge for Eldridge Rodriquez.
