It's not often you get a chance to catch The Downbeat 5 these days, what with the busy schedule Jen D'Angora's been keeping with Jenny Dee & the Deelinquents, but luckily they're playing a few shows here and there and one of them's tomorrow night at The Rosebud (Davis Square), a fairly new venue (it's the much larger restaurant/banquet type space behind the diner car) that I quite like. Shows there run cheap – I think usually $5 – and most of the time only two bands are on the bill so each band gets a lot more quality time with their audience.
