Tonight, Berklee's Café 939 hosts two enchanting, dynamic acts. Locals Jaggery (above) call themselves a "torture chamber pop ensemble." Piano, viola and harp anchor their full, orchestrated sound, at once macabre and breathtaking.
They're joined by multi-instrumentalist and circus composer Sxip Shirey, who returns to Boston after playing the Pops on New Year's Eve with Amanda Palmer. He calls his style "a confusion of novelty, experimental and electronics."
